Graduated from Birmingham City University in 2020 with a First Class Degree in Photography, currently working as a full time fashion photographer other duties include creative direction, styling, magazine layout and graphic design along with ghost mannequin editing.
Francesca Heath is a fashion and portraiture photographer who's work is often influenced by climate change, themes include sustainability and plastic pollution. Her work is aimed to raise awareness and inspire environmental and social change, by encouraging others to change their habits she hopes to contribute towards securing the planet’s future.
Her most recent fashion editorials depict the new era of sustainable fashion; the work highlights the latest visions of the fashion industry exploring alternative ways of consuming fashion. Her work motivates people to think about how we buy, re-use and ultimately throw away our clothes.
Fascinated by fashion, she collaborated with up and coming graduate designers and stylists exploring ways to advocate second-hand materials opposed to purchasing newly produced clothes. The outcome is a sophisticated collection of sustainable garments which have been reworked and recycled demonstrating how old fabrics can be reinvented into luxury items.
We are all aware of sustainability but also give in to the quick click Instagram driven purchase, she believes fashion can be sustainable without compromising style or restricting what you can wear this is demonstrated by the diversity illustrated in her fashion editorials.
